The lack of internet connection is crucial for the growth of companies and much
more for those that have properties far from the city, as is the case of the company
Hojaverde, which owns farms with difficult access to technologies such as fiber
optics and backup links in offices within the city, so you need a connection to the
network. In this way, the company Ecuatronix proposes a radio link service with
Cambridge technology. For the proposal of design and simulation of links, an
analysis of the infrastructure and equipment that Hojaverde has is carried out both in
its main matrix located in the Guachalá sector of the Cangahua parish, and in one of
its farms located in the parish sector Juan Montalvo belonging to the Cayambe
canton, in this way, together with simulation software such as Radio Mobile and
ICS-TELECOM, allow the necessary parameters to be obtained to achieve the
connection between a transmitting antenna and a receiver. For the backup part, it is
done based on solutions to the fading of signals, working in conjunction with "Hot
Standby Router Protocol (HSRP)" commands, which are configured in a router
belonging to the network of the main matrix of Hojaverde. Finally, a cost analysis is
carried out to know the viability of this project, resulting in a NPV of $ 3,129.54 and
an IRR of 20%, the recovery of the investment is estimated in approximately 4
months, which is extremely positive.
