dc.description.abstractThe descriptive, quantitative, field methodology was applied, with the use of a survey applied to a sample of 50 varied workers in the cultivation and logistics area, whose results showed 17% of mango waste in the agricultural farm of Guayaquil, the main types of rejections that are generated in the packing plant for export correspond to the following non-conforming products, rotten/ripened (60%), chopped (16%) and pounded (11%), being the three main causes for not having recovered the waste of this fruit, the lack of machinery and equipment to perform the process of pulping.
