Resumen
The current project aims to carry out a study to determine the feasibility for the lining of the Pumamaqui ditch. After collecting the existing information, it was decided to perform field work as direct gauging using the pinwhell and the survery of the topographic strip from the ditch, as well as its details in order to generate necessary information to carry out this Project.
Based on the information analyzed we proceeded to divide the ditch into two main sections which are the driving and distribution, in order to be able to segment the sections with posible problems and in this way identify specifically the critical zones that need intervention.
Once the critical zones have been identified is determined an average current work efficiency in these areas, to later propose the most adequate solution, in this case it’s to coat said sections of the Pumamaqui ditch with concrete. Hydrological análisis is the next step to obtain the máximum design flow and with the topographic information to be able to define the optimal cross sections of the channel and the most suitable type of coating that allows a correct operation of the whole system.
Finally, to sustain the viability of the execution of the project, enviromental impact análisis and its respective mitigation plan, referential Budget and valued chronogram are carried out.
