dc.description.abstract | The present research addresses the topic difficulties in oral expression in children ages 4 to 5
years old of sublevel 2 of Initial Education; had as its main objective to analyse the difficulties
in oral expression of this group. In the practices educational developed in a center of developed
of north of Quito, it was observed that there are children who don’t pronounced some words
well, so the teacher corrected their pronunciation in front of their classmates a situation that
made them feel uncomfortable, on other hand, the classmates when listening the corrections,
they expressed phrases such as: no, that’s not how it is said or you can’t speak. The research
was qualitative with a descriptive approach and its method was ethnographic, therefore,
techniques such as: semi-structured interview and participant observation were applied, as well
as, instruments such as: questions script and field diary were used for teachers and students.
The main research’s findings are the teacher’s lack of knowledge to stimulate the oral
development, also, the family’s influence for using erroneous oral expressions.
The development of the work was organized as follows: first part, the description of the
problem, background, importance, scope and delimitation of the institution, the second part
describes the objectives, the third part presents the theoretical fundament regarding the state of
the art and theoretical framework, the fourth part describes the methodology, the fifth part the
analysis of results and findings is carried out, and finally, the conclusions, annexes and
bibliographical references are presented in the sixth part. | |
