Abstract

The antimicrobial activity of the husks of Musa paradisiaca L. was evaluated against Propionibacterium acnes for this the ethanolic extracts at 70 and 96% and aqueous were analyzed by phytochemical and antimicrobial tests obtaining as a result the efficacy of the ethanolic extract at 96% for the elaboration of the anti-acne gel.
