dc.description.abstract | This document shows the mathematical model of the Mach-Zehnder Modulator and some configurations for 16-QAM optical modulation purposes. Using a IQ-Simple modulator, a 2048-bits transmission in 16-QAM signal simulated for an optical fiber of 10km distance with coherent reception and addition of optical noise, presenting the constellations at each stage. | |
