Resumen
The two alterations with high relevance in service companies, is anxiety and stress as answers
of the neuropsychological process that involves emotion in the cognitive, physiological and
behavioral level, however the organizations have not foreseen this type of problems and have
allowed that the same ones get to become chronic situations, affecting considerably the wellbeing and the quality of life of the workers, being this way necessary to link the
neuropsychology in these spaces and this way to explain what happens in the brain of the
individuals when they face the mentioned alterations. The objective is to analyze the
neuropsychological process of emotion in the face of stress and anxiety in workers of service
companies, in order to propose intervention strategies to improve the well-being and quality
of life. From the analysis of scientific articles published between the years 2010 and 2020 in
databases such as: Redalyc, Scopus, ResearchGate, Science Direct, Scielo, MDPI, Dialnet,
Taylor & Francis and Plos One, 155 articles were found that after having been submitted to
inclusion and exclusion criteria, 67 were chosen for their exploration. It is concluded that
stress is the result of a critical level of anxiety more in women than in men and it will depend
a lot on the role, age that they fulfill in each company, however, the more frequent and
repetitive the appearance of emotions due to these alterations, the more complications it will
cause at brain level. It is suggested to work on its prevention.
