Economic and population growth has led to an increase in demand from the energy sector, where consumption of fossil fuels predominates. For this reason, it has attracted research interest in finding alternative fuels to mitigate the dependence on fossil fuels, provide energy value and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. The synthesis gas is considered as the ideal additive to form mixtures with fossil fuels. The literature reports various characterization studies C1- C4/gas synthetic mixtures, results have not yet blends with GLP. This study focuses on the numerical and experimental calculation of the laminar burning velocity for a mixture 50% C3H8-50% synthesis gas at atmospheric conditions of 295 K and 0.849 bar. The results contribute to the introduction of alternative fuels in the energy market from its characterizing in terms of laminar burning velocity as an important property in the operation and design in combustion equipment.
