Validación del software especializado WAsP para el dimensionado de parques eólicos de altura ubicados en terrenos complejos

Abstract

This research project has as main objective to determine the variability of the results of energy production using the WAsP software applied in complex terrain. Because there are several wind projects similar Villonaco in Ecuador. The simulation results were compared with actual operation data Villonaco, giving an error of 20.37% WAsP for wind farm Villonaco conditions, i.e. a park high and complex terrain.
