Resumen
The following document presents the
results of the study of estimating the costs
of electrical energy, obtained through
laboratory results and then check them
through a simulation of the energy
generated based on hydrogen, to check the
feasibility in the economic field within
consumption household electric power.
From the results, an energetic analysis of
hydrogen was carried out in the market,
using the recovery factor (EPBT) which
indicates the time it takes for a hydrogen
cell to compensate for the energy it uses.
From the results obtained in the laboratory
and the mathematical model in which a
PEM-type fuel cell was used, it is possible
to see the amount of energy that is needed
to produce electricity and the cost of the
energy that is produced, which is analyzed
from the energy, technical and economic
point of view, thus obtaining the strengths
of being a clean energy free of
contamination since its only residue is
water vapor, but with the great
disadvantage that in the electrical field
greater energy losses due to the low
efficiency of fuel cells.
