This titration project presents the analysis of the charging and discharging of batteries for a micro-grid made in ISOLATED PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE, the main function of which is to analyze the behavior and main advantages and disadvantages of these batteries.
To achieve these objectives, an 'Isolated Photovoltaic Module' was built, it is composed of a photovoltaic panel, solar controller, voltage inverter, lead acid battery and gel battery, the various charging and discharge tests were conducted in the laboratories of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, Guayaquil headquarters.
The results were analyzed in order to identify which battery was the most suitable in the microgrid in terms of voltage, current, power parameters and the loads submitted.
It should be noted that these results were compared with the HOMER Pro® software, which was of vital importance and which offered characteristics similar to those of the batteries used in physical laboratory tests.
