dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this technical project is the implementation of fault tests in generation systems using the CMC 356 Omicron of the SEL751 which works under the IEC 61850 GOOSE, standard that allows the development of laboratory practices on electrical protections using the generation module of the Electrical Engineering career at the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana sede Guayaquil. With the CMC 356 Omicron equipment, practices are carried out in which we can validate the parameters required for correct communication between protection relays and meet the functionality of the IEC 61850 standard and GOOSE protocols, considering the AcSELerator software and the Test Universe. Finally, a practice guide is developed that aim to instruct both teacher and student of Universidad Politécnica Salesiana in their practical knowledge of the IEC 61850 standard and the respective coordination of protections of a SEP.
