Resumen
This article shows a mixed technology non-conventional renewable energy plant (NCRE). For its implementation, the feasibility of supplanting the Dayuma thermoelectric plant (2MW), located in the province of Orellana, Ecuador, has been proposed as a case study. Initially, the natural energy resources of the area were evaluated, such as temperature, irradiance, wind speed at its maximum, minimum and average points, in a time interval of five years. Later, controllers based on fuzzy logic were used to monitor the maximum power point (MPPT). For the optimal dispatch of the energy produced, an optimizer based on linear programming was used to find the lowest production cost. Finally, an environmental impact analysis was carried out related to the emission and absorption of CO2 in the area. This research seeks to estimate the maximum possible generation through MPPT based on a fuzzy logic control and with this define the possibility of supplanting the aforementioned thermal power plant.
