This document focuses its research on the optimal energy dispatch for a preferential load such as a hospital, maintaining high energy consumption 24 hours a day. For this, the demand has been supplied in such a way that it works as an isolated network using a photovoltaic network, a generator set and a battery bank. In addition, the optimal way to supply the critical demand is established, modeling the most similar behavior of the load to study the micro-grid in detail during a contingency case where the load is deprived of the local electrical network. Therefore, it was ensured that due to the low efficiency that batteries and solar panels provide to supply a critical load, the best way to dispatch is to use solar panels for heating sources and water heaters that represent less than 8 % of the total power consumption, the generator set is also considered necessary to satisfy the reliability of the system, since it is essential to be prepared for a contingency.
