Resumen
This paper discusses the design and construction of a simulator module overcurrent protection for distribution systems MV, it aims to simulate, test and obtain a practical way, the parameters for the coordination of overcurrent protection. In this project, the module consists of two main components which are: the protection relay and fuse disconnectors. It has also designed a manual of practice, in which there are different scenarios of protection coordination, resulting in the skills and performance of the two elements mentioned times. Times the theoretical curves obtained with the manufacturer in case of tirafusibles, and the equation of the curve in the case of protective relay. The practical times obtained through testing in the module. Finally it is expected that practical values are as close to the theoretical.
