Resumen
The ATARAXIA research group carried out the project The Theater as a Catalyst for Creative Minds, for this reason it requested the participation of students in the process of graduating with the aim of delivering a communicative product that consisted of a photo book of the process of the sessions they carried out. the participants in the project. The method of qualitative observation was followed during the six months of zoom sessions to observe the behavior of children and young people, then they went to their homes to take the photos, it should be noted that, due to the pandemic, no more could be done. due to the high vulnerability of the patients, for which these first photos were used. As a result, a photo book was obtained that includes the sessions of occlusive, African, fricative, assonantal and palatal consonantal phonemes, with the main words that were used for the imitation exercises in order to improve the language of the participants. It is concluded that theater is one of the best resources for patients with Down syndrome to improve their linguistic and communication processes, because they use imitation to improve their language.
