Resumen
This document contains the procedure to implement a free software solution for the deployment
of focused virtual desktops for use by students of the Computer Science Engineering career.
The document explains the process to correctly deploy virtual desktop services with different
operating systems using the Systems Data Center infrastructure and the UDS Enterprise desktop
virtualization software. The document also explains how to make resource estimates to create
each virtual desktop using the Simplex mathematical method, all analyzes and calculations are
based on the resources that the Systems Data Center has.
The content of the document is structured by the following chapters:
Chapter 1, which contains a detail of the components that make up the infrastructure of the
Systems Data Center, as well as the concepts related to the subject and the feasibility that the
project presents.
Chapter 2, which contains all the necessary analysis to develop the proposal, from requirements
analysis, resource analysis for each virtual desktop and growth and cost analysis.
Chapter 3, which exposes all the construction and deployment of the virtual desktops in the
Systems Data Center, as well as the performance tests and the results thereof.
At the end you will find the conclusions and recommendations based on the entire development
of the project.
