Evaluación de la expresión de genes de defensa en plantas de tomate (Solanum lycopersicum L.) utilizando extracto etanólico de toronja (Citrus paradisi Macf.)

Abstract

It was evaluated the antifungal capacity of a grapefruit ethanolic extract (Citrus paradisi Mcf.) against an isolated Oidium sp. Strain. Afterwards it was measured with RT-PCR the expression of PR1, PR2, PR3, MAPK3 and MAPK6 genes in 9 and 11 weeks-old tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum L.) 24 hours after the treatment with the extract.
