Audiovisual production is an industry that is in charge of various artists and professionals, whose work gives life to stories that reflect realities or fictions to entertain and teach a specific audience. Like any merchandise, the films created for these viewers have a commercial nature and an objective of giving profits and benefits to their filmmakers. Around this context, Ecuador produces an endless number of audiovisual products every year with the aim of showing a social, cultural or political reality. Thus, in 2018, Algoritmo began with the making, an Ecuadorian film financed by the State by the Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Creation (ICCA) and made by the production company Volemos by the general producer, Darío León. Taking this national feature film as a case study, a video report was produced with the aim of making visible a little-known and hidden work for those outside the audiovisual field, a communicative product that collects testimonies from the actors who participated in the filming of the scenes and the work team that was maintained during all the production phases, thus showing the mishaps, successes and achievements obtained in this process of planning, realization and dissemination.
