This work exposes the application of methodological strategies for the development of social skills in adolescents with moderate intellectual disabilities of the Manuela Espejo Specialized Educational Unit in the city of Guayaquil - Ecuador, to conform the state of the art, a large bibliography has been consulted that has allowed the author to define key and updated concepts of the topic.
