The antioxidant capacity of the ethanolic and aqueous extract of pitahaya fruit was evaluated by the DPPH method, and a phytochemical screening was carried out to establish the presence of bioactive groups. As a result, an IC50 value of 128.2881 µg/mL was obtained for the ethanolic extract and an IC50 value of 611.0229 µg/mL for the aqueous extract.
