Resumen
This project is focused on the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) system, since by replacing analog television transmissions with this system using OFDM modulation (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing), transmissions can be made for fixed equipment. However, in the case of digital television reception systems such as smartphones, laptops and other mobile devices there are problems with reception due to the multipath effect. For this purpose, it was decided to apply a CC-OFDM modulation to improve the image quality of the television. OneSeg type with a maximum resolution of [320x240] pixels, also decreasing the wrong bits in the transmission. The OFDM and CC-OFDM modulations (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing by Convolution Coding) are implemented for the ISDB-T (Digital Broadcasting of Integrated Services for Television) and DVB-T (Broadcasting of Digital Video for Television) standards in band. UHF. By means of Simulink de Matlab, the block diagrams were implemented, to observe the results when transmitting data, measuring the BER (Bit Error Rate), the delay and the number of carriers, under three types of channels: AWGN (Gaussian Noise Additive White), land A (rural land) and land C (urban land) in order to observe which standard presents the best efficiency. From the results obtained, it is shown that the standard with the highest efficiency is DVB-T with CC-OFDM modulation, because it adapts better to urban and rural environments because it has a lower BER and a reduction in reception delay.
