Abstract
The social contract and the Organic Law on Higher Education assigned to the Ecuadorian university role to produce graduates with the skills and competencies required by the business and social sectors. The relevance of the quality of higher education challenges the academic management of the university, to ask: if the skills and training skills of the learner correspond to the required performance standards?
The design of the Model Evaluation Professional Performance of Commercial Engineering graduate of Salesian University (UPS) of Ecuador, allows the assessment of generic and specific competences achieved by the learner in the stage of training and job performance. The model includes several experiences, particularly the generic and specific competencies of the graduate profile Tuning Europe / Latin America project.
