dc.description.abstractThe Universidad Polytechnic Salesiana headquarters Quito Campus El Girón meets the need to have a system that provides information and location of the areas most frequented by users with visual disabilities within the campus. This project aims to the construction of a prototype of multi-mode, through RFID cards auditory signage and platform Arduino Uno, which accesses a database programmed in it which sends a pre-recorded to a controller signal and will give the information of listening through a speaker form and will be located at the entrance of the most important areas. The people responsible for the distribution of RFID cards are security guards, people in the area of information, or the staff that the University creates relevant it will be located at the main entrance, the card will be delivered to users with different visual disabilities at the time of admission to the University Polytechnic Salesiana headquarters Quito Campus El Girón the card will be home by the user with visual disabilities and sends a wireless signal to a receiver at the time of being close to the prototype of a device that will be located in the most important area
