Resumen
This project is focusing on the design and construction of a mortar plastering machine prototype
with a capacity of 15 m²/h that used in civil works. The objective is to reduce the construction
costs and the fatigue experienced by the worker that caused by plastering mortar on flat surfaces
such as walls, making easier the construction and project planning processes.
There are three components of prototype: hopper, pumping and transport. It should be noted
that pumping is commonly carry out by screw or peristaltic pump. We have opted for a transport
and impulse mechanism to achieve the plastering of walls made up of an Archimedes screw
and compressed air thrust to achieve a uniform plastering.
Optimizing the construction process of civil works, reducing downtime, while improving the
competitiveness versus manual method, standardize processes and control of materials, as well
as a modernization in this process, similar to technologically advanced countries.
With prototype of the mortar plastering machine, it has gotten the best design of the conveyor
screw and mortar impulse, reach to satisfactory results in terms of mass performance, a very
useful plastering technique in corners and areas of difficult access, adding to this a mortar jet
type flow.
