Análisis y elaboración de un plan de optimización para los recursos de red en la empresa Corlasosa S.A. mediante la implementación de la herramienta PRTG

Abstract

This project has for objective analyzing, develop and implementation, of a network monitoring tool to keep track of the devices within the network of CORLASOSA. Today companies have a lot of devices such as web servers, databases, applications, e-mail which they are an essential part of the business and even meet critical functions like bringing the billing system. That is why a monitoring system emerges as a solution to keep track of devices of CORLASOSA along with information on their performance, which will provide a higher rate of availability in services and agility in solving problems even long before they occur. For the development of this project, the PRTG tool that allows analysis of each of the storage devices and the data obtained is used, together with the reports that are an essential part for the respective studies which will propose solutions to different problems that are within the network. The result of this project is the implementation of a monitoring system that has various notifications to staff to contingencies and monitoring of critical enterprise devices and the development of an optimization plan that allows me to count data and proposals for solutions to the problems encountered in a previous analysis. The use of these systems can record the main events that happen so it is necessary and indispensable to have a system like this to ensure the functionality of the devices on the network.
