The principal objective of this article is to highlight the importance of interdisciplinary knowledge in building, we reflect on the origin of interdisciplinary response to the philosophical questions of twentieth century science against positivism. It reflects on the need for interdisciplinary research to address complex systems. It also addresses problems that have occurred due to excessive specialization when considering the different objects of study and clarify the relationship between specialization and interdisciplinarity.
