Resumen
This document presents a methodology for resilient operation of an underground distribution network. The methodology goal is the fault events that disallow one of the key components of the network. The technique seeks for changes in network that improves the network operation. It takes account of the reliability and quality criteria in order to get its goal. The method makes consecutive calculations of the most relevant index to measure the reliability and quality of the system.
The methodology takes account of the contingency location and the number of loads that were disconnected from the network. Later, several changes of topology are tested. The scenarios are tested through simulations that take place under licensed software. The researchers employ the simulations in order to know the network behavior under every case. The study is looking for the case that allow to reconnect the most loads. This case will allow to improve the reliability and quality of the network. An underground network is the one employed on this document. The network is a real one and the authors employs the original topology of the feeders and the current load needs.
The methodology is tested changing the load and the location of the N-1 fault.
