Resumen
The purpose of this research is to analyze the pedagogical model adopted and developed by the Educational Institution “Escuela Fiscal Mixta José Antepara.for the approval of children in initial education, sub-level I. For this purpose, a bibliographic review and research of pedagogical models is carried out of initial education, Montessori and Decroliano, which for a long time have been decisive in the development and potentialization of initial education since they have proposed innovative strategies that focus on the concept of boys and girls and on the importance of the attention of the first childhood.
Furthermore, it is analyzed how over time and with the different changes presented around education, new proposals for institutional pedagogical models were generated, as in the social constructivist model. A brief description of the changes made in the initial education curriculum in recent years is also presented to provide a quality education.
In the second part, the educational model adopted by the institution and the inconsistencies between the adopted model and the developed in the didactic practice are analyzed. Comments were made, the director and the teacher were interviewed and an institutional educational project was analyzed. The third part presents some conclusions and recommendations.
For this analysis, the qualitative method was used for observations, field diaries, interviews and surveys up to the determination of the educational model used at this level.
