Resumen
The purpose of the current technical project is to simulate an electrical system in the distribution network protection module, located in the protection laboratory of the Salesian Polytechnic University, for which all the elements that commonly exist in electrical substations will be used, such as: Disconnectors, Switches, protection relays, power transformer, instrument transformers (TP and TC).
In the simulated SEP, we use three SEL 751 protection relays, where the main relay (IED-1) will be in charge of measuring data and the status of protections, and the other relays (IED 2 and IED 3) will be in charge of clearing simulate faults (instantaneous overcurrent and timed overcurrent).
