Digital dissemination on environmental issues has been, since the beginning of digitization, a source of great importance to publicize the different campaigns and problems that the world faces. The massiveness of a message on social networks accompanied by communication and digital marketing strategies has given environmental care activists an opportunity that on a large scale has managed to raise awareness and motivate positive actions. Despite the limitations faced by local organizations in Ecuador, social networks have been the most accurate channel to turn an environmental campaign into an educational activism and new proposals for the benefit of our local ecosystem.
