The main objective of this project is to generate the design of a 12V battery charging system for the Kia Soul electric vehicle, through the use of solar panels, which has the purpose of increasing the autonomy and performance of the VE. The adduction of the solar modules and load regulators are selected based on the amount of electrical energy consumed in the 12-volt battery, by the different safety and comfort systems of the Kia Soul EV vehicle. The design of the recharge system of the 12 V battery of the Kia Soul EV vehicle is made by Matlab's Simulink engineering software, which simulates the behavior of the electric power generation of the solar modules and the charging process that is It gives in the low voltage battery. With an analysis of resource optimization for the whole design of the regenerative system of 12V battery charge.
