Resumen
This project aims to rescue the traditions, customs and experiences of the Montubio people of the Briceño enclosure of the Salitre canton. In this work it was possible to demonstrate the cultural richness that this enclosure has, allowing it to create a Montubian identity seal that is difficult to erase due to the innumerable characteristics that the Montubios of the Briceño enclosure have. Ecuador is an intercultural, multi-ethnic and pluricultural country, recognized in the 2008 Constitution of Ecuador, and that image must be projected to the world. That is why it is important to work to strengthen cultural identity from different communication points of view. For the development of this work it was necessary to make several trips to the locality and to talk with its inhabitants. The oldest inhabitants were searched for from whom important and accurate information about the place was obtained, not only with adults but also with children who contributed from their childish eyes. The purpose of this work is to strengthen the identity of the Ecuadorian Montubio, particularly of the Briceño Montubio, through communication products that could be disseminated by the national radio media, starting with the Radio of the Salesian Polytechnic University, generating interest in the cultures that exist in Ecuador among both the youngest and the oldest.
