The present investigation corresponds to a case study that aims to analyze the practices of social exclusion that are developed and affect the socialization process of the students of the 7th year of EGB. Social exclusion is a phenomenon that attacks various subjects or groups of people for having characteristics that society determines or builds to exclude, deprive them of certain rights, participation and a place in society. This work arises after identifying a problem in which social exclusion is evidenced by observing constant situations in which certain children meet characteristics that the rest of the students determine as different, and for this reason they are excluded.
A qualitative methodology is used, in which a social and descriptive approach is used because a description of each of the themes developed and the results found are developed, through an ethnographic method focused on participant observation, using techniques such as diary of field and the interview.
Within the results, we have that social exclusion is a latent problem in the daily life of students, this due to its ease of reproduction in the various recreational activities that take place on a daily basis, and being a social phenomenon that attacks directly, the interactions of the subjects develop in common ways, affecting and hindering the development of the socialization process of the students, in addition keywords are used such as: socialization, social exclusion, recreational activities.
