Prevalencia de toxoplasmosis en muestras de cobayos (Cavia porcellus) por el método de ELISA indirecto

Abstract

In the present investigation, the multispecies Indirect ELISA technique was used, which determines antibodies present in serum. For this study, 240 samples were collected from guinea pigs from different places in the Paute Canton, and the results showed a prevalence of 17.5% (42/240) of antibodies against T. gondii in the production guinea pigs.
