Resumen
The present research work, proposed as a problem, determines the misuse of
dehomosexualization clinics in the Capital, which has become a practice of discrimination in
Ecuador. Through an informative magazine comprised of five sections where the responsibility
of the state is focused on the creation, operation and practices of this type of clinic.
In this same sense, this research has used critical theory in gender and an analysis based on
gender discrimination, equality and discrimination of these rights towards LGBTI groups.
This exploratory research with an interpretive paradigm will focus on analyzing the multiple
testimonies that are given about de-homosexualization in the statistics of Quito through an
informative magazine, based on a qualitative axis with media monitoring that helps control that
the development of rehabilitation centers in the city.
On the other hand, the practical guiding approach used in the research will be of a qualitative
type due to the presentation of a historical and dynamic perspective, in the same way people
and groups will be studied for the reconstruction and understanding of their past, such as the
context and present situations in which they found themselves.
Finally, the technique in which it will be used will be through life stories and biographical
research. As a reason for this investigation, the State's responsibility as the main guarantor of
these rights has been proven. It is true that the constitution of Ecuador has made progress in the
field of human rights, in relation to LGBTI groups, however, much remains to be done to
achieve the welfare of people by the state
