Abstract

This project presents the use of metaheuristic optimization algorithms specifically, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Firefly Algorithm (FA) and Directional Bat Algorithm (dBA), applied in the design of planar antennas to improve their characteristics of coupling at a desired frequency.
