This investigation was based on the construction and implementation of a laboratory-scale microbial full cell for the generation of electrical energy using synthetic wastewater (ARS) and bacterial consortiums focusing on the impact generated by the type of membrane on the operating characteristics of the cell with a type of feeding of continuous flow and batch. To concluded the configuration of the membranes is a factor that have an influence in the electric characteristics and also in the optimum energy performance within a microbial fuel cell.
