| dc.description | En el artículo se describe cómo el Partido Socialista Argentino, construyó su identidad política durante el período de la Primera Guerra Mundial. Para ello, se realizó un análisis del discurso producido por el socialismo en su periódico oficial La Vanguardia. En este trabajo, se muestra qué representaciones sociales elaboró el diario de la realidad europea y, particularmente, de los países involucrados en la guerra. De esta manera, se logra especificar con qué países se sintió identificado el Partido, cómo elaboró su propia identidad a partir de la postura adoptada y por último, cómo se produjo el proceso de interacción con los lectores, en los que el socialismo buscaba un reconocimiento ideológico y político. | |
| dc.description | The article presents an acount of how the Argentinian socialist Party constructed its political identity during the World War I. For this, the discourse employed by socialism in La Vanguardia –their oficial newspaper- has been analysed. This proyect shows the social representation of the European reality and, particulary, of those countries envolved in the War as elaborated by the newspaper. This has made it posible to specify the countries the Party felt identified with, the way in which socialism built its own identity from its assumed stance and, finally, the way the interaction process was achieved with its readership –from which socialism expected to gain political and ideological recognition. | |
