dc.description.abstractThis document presents the design and simulation of control system for plastic bag cutting and sealing machine. This control is necessary because exists a risk of affectation in case of fail in the machine, since the equipment is from brazil, and doesn't have technical support and spares in the country. This project presents a preventive solution for the problem. Connection diagrams are made to show the relationship between components of the machine and process description. Besides, a procedure to complete the fabrication process is developed, using motors, sensors and actuators. A programming code for the PLC and graphic interface is developed. This program is simulated with maker's software and expected results are confirmed.
