Molecules of the title compound, C<SUB>8</SUB>H<SUB>10</SUB>Br<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB>, located on symmetry centers, are in a rigid chair conformation, with the COOH and Br substituents axial and equatorial, respectively.
