Dictadura militar y movimiento mapuche en Chile

Abstract

The article explores how the mapuche movement, which was constructed during all the 20th century, suffered a hard reverse in the context of the military dictatorship, as all other social forces. Nevertheless it were the own policies of the dictatorship which caused a strong expression of resistance mapuche again and eventually allowed the generation of a wide and complex ethnopolitics movement.
