This thesis proposes a reading of the territorial representations in a williche poetry corpus (1999-2012). The reflection has been guided by a methodology inspired in spatial production categories proposed by Henri Lefebvre (1974). The represented territory is built by the spatiality told by the poetic voice, that makes a territorialization. The spaces “perceived”, “conceived” and “lived” are the instances that guide the analysis, that reveal a ‘transterritorial’ and ‘transpatial’ poetic voice. The configurator axis of the represented territory is the water in Üi by Adriana Paredes Pinda. Water is presented like a basis of the mapuche williche culture, where the spatiality of sonority and the cultural experience is shown in the conversation with the ngen ko of the rivers. This talk is translated in the territorialization trough the mother tongue. In Reducciones (2012) by Jaime Luis Huenún, the poetic territory is related to the image and the voice of the ancestors. The conflict of reduction is presented through the ethnographic imagen, realizing the appropriation of the other’s voice and image. The territorialization occurs in the voices of the forefathers and mainly, trough the grandmother’s voice, who is the seed of the williche culture. Oratorio al Señor de Pucatrihuex (2004) by César Millahueique shows the utopia of return, where the territorialization happens through the ‘lived space’ in the cultural memory. The axis of this territory is the flight, where the voice raises over the vision, the ancestors memories, crossing the pain experiences in a healing journey.
