y escolar. // ABSTRACT: This article's purpose is to introduce an updated qualitative analysis of available
evidence between the year 2010 till june 2020 about the Attentional Abilities (AA)
in school children with Specific Language Impairment (SLI). For the Systematic
Revision (SR) were included 14 scientific articles that describe empirical data of
the children's performance with SLI, compared to to their Typical Development
(TD) pairs, using different tasks that evaluated the sustained attention, besides, the
Reaction Time (RT) results and precision (p) were considered and analysed
qualitatively. Six of these articles describe the relationship between the AA and the
abilities of linguistic type, meanwhile the remaining 8 only approached the
attention. The SR corroborates the existence of attentional deficits in school
children with SLI compared with the partners with TD. The major difference it's
found in Continuous Performance tasks (CPT) and Attentional Masking tasks (AM)
where the obtained results by children with SLI is deficient compared with their
pairs with TD. It must be considered in future investigations, in clinical evaluations
and phonoaudiological therapies or from other areas the attention types and how they are affected in the performance of boys and girls with SLI in pre- school and
school ages.
