Resumen
En base a un trabajo de campo cualitativo sostenido en el tiempo (desde el año 2012 en adelante) en barrios de relegación urbana de la ciudad de Córdoba, construidos y habitados mayoritariamente por población migrante de origen peruano, el objetivo de este artículo es analizar los recorridos y especificidades que adquirió en los últimos años el trabajo comunitario realizado por mujeres migrantes, en el marco de la reorientación de los flujos migratorios en las últimas décadas hacia espacios urbanos marginales y periféricos. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que el trabajo comunitario remunerado, que se ha transformado en un pilar central de sostenibilidad de las familias migrantes que residen en esos espacios, es cada vez más requerido por las mujeres migrantes en el contexto de un abanico reducido de opciones de inserción laboral, marcadas todas ellas por la precariedad. Así pues, la presencia continua en el territorio nos permitió reconocer a mujeres jóvenes para quienes su primer trabajo remunerado es el comunitario y, también, a mujeres adultas que reorientaron sus trayectorias laborales previas a la comunitaria. En particular, nos interesa reconstruir esas trayectorias, asumiendo el desafío de reconceptualizar aquellas formas laborales que exceden y disputan el trabajo asalariado formal.
