Resumen
El campo de la Formación Profesional en la Argentina experimentó un punto de viraje en el período 2004-2015, a raíz del papel central del Estado en el procesamiento de sus demandas y otorgamiento de fondos públicos. En este escenario, trabajadores/as de origen de clase popular transitaron un pasaje ocupacional como instructores de oficios en Centros de Formación Profesional1 que diversificaron y acrecentaron sus propuestas curriculares. Se trata de trabajadores adultos, que luego de una socialización laboral precaria a fines de los ‘90 –en el rubro de la construcción, el trabajo doméstico remunerado y el sector industrial–, mejoran sus ingresos y experimentan una revalorización personal mediante el ejercicio de un nuevo rol: capacitar para el trabajo. En estas coordenadas, desde un enfoque teórico de la clase y la movilidad social, la ponencia se adentra al análisis de las trayectorias de clase de un conjunto de docentes, según el origen social, los heterogéneos recorridos emprendidos, así como las sociabilidades institucionales que favorecieron el nuevo desempeño profesional. Asimismo, se indaga en las implicancias que el cambio laboral suscitó en las valoraciones hacia el trabajo, horizontes de vida, y prácticas económicas del entorno familiar. Las trayectorias de clase son reconstruidas desde una orientación biográfica y etnográfica, a fin de precisar cómo se entretejen significaciones y prácticas cotidianas con los contextos locales, y procesos económicos e históricos más amplios.
