Resumen
A lo largo de su vida, como resultado de préstamos, intercambios y búsquedas en las más recónditas librerías de viejo, José Sazbón fue edificando una biblioteca personal realmente exquisita, que todo aquel que la haya visitado no dudaría en clasificar de apabullante. Si los libros y artículos publicados y compilados por Sazbón constituyen uno de sus legados más importantes, esos escritos son inseparables de esa enorme biblioteca, que podría pensarse como una suerte delegado alternativo, más íntimo si se quiere, y como un testimonio de sus intereses y de los vínculos que tramaron su itinerario intelectual. En el año 2011, su esposa Berta Stolior y su hijo Daniel tomaron la generosa decisión de donar su biblioteca y archivo personal al Centro de Documentación e Investigación de la Cultura de Izquierdas (CeDInCI). Este capítulo reconstruye los criterios personales con los cuales Sazbón organizó su biblioteca, como una puerta de entrada a la obra y la trayectoria de esta figura clave de la generación de los años sesenta y setenta, que ejerció un silencioso y prolongado magisterio como profesor de filosofía e historia de las ideas, como autor de algunos de los mejores ensayos de historia intelectual europea producidos en nuestro medio y como un exquisito traductor y editor.
