Resumen
El 29 y 30 de mayo de 1969 estalló la ciudad de Córdoba. Así lo vivieron sus contemporáneos que inmediatamente comenzaron a referirse a lo sucedido como Cordobazo. En efecto, en el discurso de los medios y del gobierno, una bomba había explotado en la ciudad mediterránea. ¿Qué había ocurrido? El plan impuesto en 1967 por el Ministro de Economía de la dictadura de Onganía, Adalbert Krieger Vasena, había congelado los salarios y suspendido la negociación colectiva prometiendo restablecerla para fines de 1968. Llegado ese momento la promesa fue incumplida y las dos expresiones que disputaban la conducción de la Confederación General del Trabajo (CGT) en Capital Federal –la reconocida por el gobierno, asentada en la calle Azopardo 862, y la autotitulada CGT de los Argentinos o Paseo Colón– iniciaron planes de lucha para recuperar los salarios.
