Resumen
Aspergillus flavus es la principal especie de la Sección Flavi asociada a la contaminación aflatoxicogénica de cultivos de importancia regional. Tradicionalmente el control poscosecha de maíz se realiza utilizando agentes químicos sintéticos. El empleo de levaduras propias del ecosistema que se pretende controlar sería una solución amigable con el medio ambiente. En este trabajo sobrenadantes libres de células de asilamientos de levaduras pertenecientes al la especie Meyerozyma guillermondi efectivos en reducir los niveles de aflatoxina B1 en maíz.
