Resumen
El primer apartado introduce la visión de Edmund Husserl sobre la imaginación. Se trata de un modo de presentificación o re-presentación (Vergegenwärtigung), que si bien, como fantasía libre, no está condicionada y no sitúa lo presentificado o re-presentado en un lugar del tiempo, puede quedar atada, en otra modalidad de sus operaciones, a datos que la motivan. En segundo lugar se examina el modo en que, según Husserl, la imaginación opera en una constitución regresiva mediante la cual es posible figurarse mundos ya desaparecidos. Esta presentificación se realiza sobre la base de indicios en una apertura a las generaciones anteriores y en un traspasamiento de lo generativamente constituido. En tercer lugar, siguiendo a Paul Ricoeur, se indican diversas modalidades de la intervención de la imaginación en la historiografía y en la historia hecha y padecida. Por último, se vuelve sobre el análisis de Husserl para examinar su visión sobre algunos aspectos de la historiografía.
